java river cafe and bakery

Tatia is the owner of a main street cafe serving drinks, breakfast and lunch. When she came to me, she was looking for a logo that could be slowly dripped out across her cafe so she could implement updates around the cafe as budget allowed.

With my Brandstorm package, I worked with Java River to design a brand identity, including a logo, icon, pattern, color palette, and type palette. My goal was to create a brand she could visualize and implement throughout her business.

Together, we:

• Discussed how a cohesive brand would help her build trust throughout her business (including online and real life application).

• Decided on a color palette and font choices through mood boards that helped Tatia visualize how the brand could look implemented.

• Created a logo that customers could easily recognize as a cafe and bakery.

• Created a version of the logo that could be used as a stamp to add branded customization to paper cups and to-go packaging.

• Visualized future applications of the brand through realistic mock-ups and the type lockup to guide designs for website and marketing purposes.
