Doug Ewing Photo
Doug is an experienced photographer who takes candid shots of everything from senior photos to professional headshots to weddings. He was looking for a website that focused on his wedding photography portfolio rather than a portfolio of all of his work.
With my website build package, I worked with Doug to create a website that showcased his favorite work while staying true to his simplistic brand identity. Nothing flashy, nothing bright. The only color he wanted to see was the color in his work.
Together, we:
Had a strategy session to discuss goals for the website – including aesthetic and what kind of action he wants the people who land on his website to take.
Went back and forth about using color (in the ended we stuck with the grayscale palette because that is what makes the most sense for Doug, his brand, and website goals).
Built out a website that showcases his work and receive lots of love because of the photos and heavy focus on Doug’s work throughout the webiste.
