A behind-the-scenes look at Rae Design’s work…
John is the owner of Angelinis Ristorante Italiano, a local favorite in Keokuk, Iowa.
When John came to me, he was struggling to keep his website updated and easy to navigate. What he had was outdated, out of whack, and clearly wasn’t working the way he needed it to to support his business and make processes easier on his staff. He wanted a website that clearly directed his customers to online ordering, making a reservation, or checking out the menu.
With my website build package, John and I got to work building out his website.
Together, we:
Discussed his current processes, what worked, and what felt like too much work
Cleared out duplicate subscriptions and streamlined where information and photos for employee access live
Set clear goals for the website so the design could be optimized
Figured out what was missing and made a plan to make it happen:
Updated photography and text content
Strategy to gather customer feedback with their consent
Application page for potential employees to easily apply
By the end of our time together, John finally had a working website he could easily update and updated photography of his menu items that he constantly gets positive feedback on. To be honest, whenever I show someone this website, I also get compliments on how good the food photos look.
