Westridge Mechanical Contracting

A little behind-the-scenes taste of how I infuse brand strategy into every project I work on at Rae Design:

Cindy is the office manager at Westridge Mechanical Contracting. They create custom sheet metal builds for area manufacturing facilities. Think things you’d see on the factor floor – heavy duty stairs, platforms, and other custom safety pieces.

When Cindy at Westridge reached out to me, she was looking for a full website build. They had no online presence, weren’t sure to begin, and knew they needed professional help. The team knew they wanted their website to serve as an informational landing page for maintenance managers to learn more about their business, the type of work they do and to view the work they’ve already done.

With my website build package, I worked with Cindy and the team to write their website content and build a website that represented the quality of their work and told potential clients everything they needed to know about their business.

Together, we:

  • Discussed their website goals and expectations.

  • Planned ways to share their work without taking photos of the installed projects at factories. This is important because of client privacy – and we decided quick shots of their work in the shop (before installation) was the best way to move forward in a way they could easily manage.

  • Worked on their brand strategy through questionnaires and homework. I used these answers to guide the content and copywriting on their website. My goal was to write towards their target demographic while still staying true to the nature of their work, services, and the employees representing the brand.

By the end of our time together, Cindy and the team at Westridge Mechanical Contracting had a website they’re proud to share with all perspective clients and a content baseline they can infuse into marketing and connecting with potential clients on LinkedIn.
